Museum

It is located in the southern wing of the Dačice State Castle. The museum offers visitors a permanent exhibitions about the origin of the first sugar cube in the world, about the history of the Dačice city and the ethnography of Dačice city and surroundings.

The gallery’s permanent exhibitions show the work of highland painters Michael Florián and František Bílkovský.

A separate exhibition is dedicated to the personality and work of Max Švabinský.

Throughout the year, short-term art and museum exhibitions are also held here.
